TC and CG Terminal Circuit [10/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TC OF DLC3 - TC OF HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Turn the power switch off.

      *A for DLC3 Connector Type A
      *B for DLC3 Connector Type B
      *1 DLC3
      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU Assembly)
    2. Disconnect the connector from the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      FOR DLC3 CONNECTOR TYPE A:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J12-13 (TC) - J3-28 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω
      FOR DLC3 CONNECTOR TYPE B:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J141-13 (TC) - J3-28 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CG OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *A for DLC3 Connector Type A
      *B for DLC3 Connector Type B
      *1 DLC3

      Standard Resistance

      FOR DLC3 CONNECTOR TYPE A:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J12-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      FOR DLC3 CONNECTOR TYPE B:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J141-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TC OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *A for DLC3 Connector Type A
      *B for DLC3 Connector Type B
      *1 DLC3

      Standard Resistance

      FOR DLC3 CONNECTOR TYPE A:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J12-13 (TC) - Body ground Always 1 MΩ or higher
      FOR DLC3 CONNECTOR TYPE B:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J141-13 (TC) - Body ground Always 1 MΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2015 - 08/2016]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2016 - 03/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [03/2018 - 08/2019] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR REPLACE EACH ECU
