Replacement [08/2016 - 08/2019]: Procedure

- REMOVE TRANSFER ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - 08/2019]
- REMOVE TRANSFER CASE OIL SEAL
- Using SST, remove the transfer case oil seal from the transfer case sub-assembly.
*1 Transfer Case Oil Seal - SST: 09308-00010
NOTE:- Do not damage the transfer case oil seal contact surface to the transfer case sub-assembly.
- Wear or damage to the front drive shaft oil seal RH (for Inside) on the transmission side will cause transfer oil leakage.
If it is worn or damaged, replace the front drive shaft oil seal RH (for Inside).
Refer to REPLACEMENT [08/2016 - 08/2019]
- Using SST, remove the transfer case oil seal from the transfer case sub-assembly.
- INSTALL TRANSFER CASE OIL SEAL
- Using SST and a hammer, install a new transfer case oil seal to the transfer case sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

- SST: 09950-70010
- 09951-07150
Standard Depth
9.5 to 10.5 mm (0.374 to 0.413 in.)
NOTE:- Tap in the transfer case oil seal uniformly so that the transfer case oil seal is straight.
- Do not tap in the transfer case oil seal in too far.
- Apply a small amount of MP grease to the lip of the transfer case oil seal.
- Using SST and a hammer, install a new transfer case oil seal to the transfer case sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
