Removal [08/2016 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - 08/2019]

  2. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 STEERING WHEEL BOSS COVER 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the 2 lower No. 1 steering wheel boss covers from the steering wheel assembly.
  5. REMOVE SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and separate the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) from the steering wheel assembly.

    3. Disconnect the 2 shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) connectors to remove the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) from the No. 1 switch wire.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH WIRE 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 1 switch wire is necessary.

    1. Disconnect the steering vibration and heater ECU connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides.
    3. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the No. 1 switch wire from the steering wheel assembly.
