Removal [09/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

- REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - 08/2016]
- REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
- Disengage the clamp.
HINT:
The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.
Remove in this Direction - Disengage the 4 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip as shown in the illustration.
- Disconnect the connector.
HINT:
The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.
- Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction HINT:
The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.
- Disengage the clamp.
- REMOVE NO. 4 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
- Disengage the clamp.
HINT:
The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.
Remove in this Direction - Disengage the 4 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip as shown in the illustration.
- Disconnect the connector.

- Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 4 ultrasonic sensor as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction HINT:
The illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.
- Disengage the clamp.
- REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER
HINT:
- Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor retainer is necessary.
- When removing the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor retainer, heat the rear bumper assembly and No. 3 ultrasonic sensor retainer using a heat light.
- REMOVE NO. 4 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER
HINT:
- Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 4 ultrasonic sensor retainer is necessary.
- When removing the No. 4 ultrasonic sensor retainer, heat the rear bumper assembly and No. 4 ultrasonic sensor retainer using a heat light.
