Inspection [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR SWITCH (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Remove the panoramic view monitor switch (integration control and panel assembly).

      Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] 

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Panoramic View Monitor Switch (Integration Control and Panel Assembly))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      5 (D) - 17 (E) Panoramic view monitor switch pushed Below 50 Ω
      Panoramic view monitor switch not pushed 1 MΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the panoramic view monitor switch (integration control and panel assembly).

    3. Check that the switch illumination illuminates.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the panoramic view monitor switch and check that the switch illumination illuminates.

        OK

        Connection Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 8 (ILL+)
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 15 (ILL-)
        Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the panoramic view monitor switch (integration control and panel assembly).

    4. Install the panoramic view monitor switch (integration control and panel assembly).

      Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2015 - ]
