Removal [08/2016 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2015 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  6. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  8. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  9. REMOVE PARKING ASSIST ECU (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System) 

    See step  9

  10. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH 
    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and ECU integration box RH.

  11. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the clearance warning ECU assembly as shown in the illustration.
