DTC B1500: Fuel Sender Open Detected [09/2014 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (FUEL INPUT)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

- INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the O3 combination meter assembly connector.

- Disconnect the O3 combination meter assembly connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY, FUEL TANK VENT TUBE ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the U25 fuel suction tube with pump and gauge assembly connector.
- Disconnect the T18 fuel tank vent tube assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
