Removal [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 

    Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2021 - 03/2024] , or refer to PRECAUTION [03/2024 - ]

  2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE COVER PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  4. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ] 

  5. REMOVE REAR WHEEL LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  7. REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE FRONT PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. REMOVE QUARTER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  9. REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH

  10. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape around the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
      2. Disengage the claw and 4 guides to remove the fuel filler opening lid assembly as shown in the illustration.
  11. REMOVE FUEL TANK CAP ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
  12. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *1 Fuel Inlet Box Ring - -
      Push - -
      1. Remove the fuel inlet box ring as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Assembly - -
      1. Disconnect the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly from the fuel tank filler pipe assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Remove the 4 screws.
      2. Remove the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
