Installation [12/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

   *a	Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length	-	-
   	Apply Engine Oil	-	-

   1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.
      NOTE:

      When reusing the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly), inspect the O-ring.

   2. Using a ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm), install the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) to the No. 1 PCV case.

      Torque

      Specified tightening torque 

      5.0 N.m (51 kgf/cm, 44 in.lbf)

      HINT: 

      • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

        Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2021 - ]

      • When using a ball joint lock nut wrench (fulcrum length of 150 mm (5.91 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 185 mm (7.28 in.)): 2.8 N.m (29 kgf/cm, 25 in.lbf)

   Upper Side

   1. Connect the ventilation hose to the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly), and slide the clip to secure hose.
      NOTE:

      Align the hose and the hose clip at the locations shown in the illustration and install them.
