Reassembly [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 7 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL 
    NOTE:

    When installing the No. 7 radiator grille seal, heat the No. 7 radiator grille seal and radiator shutter using a heat light.

    Standard Value

    Part Temperature
    Radiator Shutter 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    No. 7 Radiator Grille Seal 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

      STANDARD MEASUREMENT

      Area Dimensions Area Dimensions
      A 63.7 mm (2.51 in.) B 11 mm (0.433 in.)
      1. Clean the radiator shutter surface.

        1. When reusing the radiator shutter, remove remaining double-sided tape from the radiator shutter.

        2. Using a heat light, heat the radiator shutter surface.

        3. Clean the installation area surface.

        NOTE:
        • Installing the No. 7 radiator grille seal with some double-sided tape remaining may cause poor adhesion. Perform this procedure until the tape is sufficiently removed.
        • Make sure to use a cloth when removing. Using a screwdriver, etc., may cause damage and poor adhesion.
      2. Using a heat light, heat the radiator shutter and a new No. 7 radiator grille seal.
      3. Install the No. 7 radiator grille seal in the position shown in the illustration.

        HINT: 

        Apply pressure so that it does not lift up from the radiator shutter.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL 
    NOTE:

    When installing the No. 1 radiator grille seal, heat the No. 1 radiator grille seal and radiator shutter using a heat light.

    Radiator Shutter 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    No. 1 Radiator Grille Seal 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:

      A Below 3 mm (0.118 in.) B 16 mm (0.630 in.)
      1. Clean the radiator shutter surface.

        1. When reusing the radiator shutter, remove remaining double-sided tape from the radiator shutter.

        2. Using a heat light, heat the radiator shutter surface.

        3. Clean the installation area surface.

        NOTE:

      1. Clean the radiator shutter surface.

  5. INSTALL NO. 5 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL 
    NOTE:

    When installing the No. 5 radiator grille seal, heat the No. 5 radiator grille seal and radiator shutter using a heat light.

    NOTE:

    When installing the No. 8 radiator grille seal, heat the No. 8 radiator grille seal and radiator shutter using a heat light.

        3. Clean the installation area surface.

        NOTE:
        • Installing the No. 8 radiator grille seal with some double-sided tape remaining may cause poor adhesion. Perform this procedure until the tape is sufficiently removed.
        • Make sure to use a cloth when removing. Using a screwdriver, etc., may cause damage and poor adhesion.
      2. Using a heat light, heat the radiator shutter and a new No. 8 radiator grille seal.
      3. Install the 2 No. 8 radiator grille seals in the position shown in the illustration.

        HINT: 

        Apply pressure so that it does not lift up from the radiator shutter.

  7. INSTALL NO. 6 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL 
    NOTE:

    When installing the No. 6 radiator grille seal, heat the No. 6 radiator grille seal and radiator shutter using a heat light.

    NOTE:
