Disassembly [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR 
    NOTE:

    When removing the No. 1 back door outside garnish protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the No. 1 back door outside garnish protector using a heat light.

    No. 1 Back Door Outside Garnish Protector 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    NOTE:

    Do not heat the No. 1 back door outside garnish protector.

      1. Heat the adhesive of the 3 No. 1 back door outside garnish protectors using a heat light.
      2. Remove the 3 No. 1 back door outside garnish protectors.
  2. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR (w/ NO. 2 BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR) 
    NOTE:

    When removing the No. 2 back door outside garnish protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the No. 2 back door outside garnish protector using a heat light.

    No. 2 Back Door Outside Garnish Protector 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

      1. Heat the adhesive of the 4 No. 2 back door outside garnish protectors using a heat light.
      2. Remove the 4 No. 2 back door outside garnish protectors.
  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR 
    NOTE:

    When removing the back door outside garnish protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the back door outside garnish protector using a heat light.

      1. Heat the adhesive of the back door outside garnish protector using a heat light.
      2. Remove the back door outside garnish protector.
    2. Use the same procedure for the other side.
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR FINISH PANEL PROTECTOR

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR NAME PLATE 
    See step  1
  6. REMOVE REAR BODY NO. 3 NAME PLATE
