DTC B0097-83: Right Side Restraints Sensor 2 Value of Signal Protection Calculation Incorrect [11/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

1. Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

   Procedure1

2. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes

Pre-procedure1

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

   Procedure1

3. Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag ECU assembly and No. 2 side airbag sensor RH.

   OK

   The connectors are properly connected.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

   Post-procedure1

4. None

CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY

1. Interchange the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly RH with LH and connect the connectors.

   *1	No. 2 Side Airbag Sensor Assembly LH
   *2	Airbag ECU Assembly
   *3	Wire Harness

2. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
3. Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
4. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs 

   Result

   Proceed to

4. Turn the power switch off.
5. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
6. Return the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.

REPLACE AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]

REPLACE NO. 2 SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]
