DTC C13B8-96: Electric Parking Brake Actuator Component Internal Failure [11/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the A102 No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
3. Disconnect the L78 parking brake with bracket actuator assembly connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A102-8 (TSEN) - L78-5 (TSEN)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A102-40 (TSN2) - L78-10 (TSN2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A102-42 (TGND) - L78-1 (TGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A102-8 (TSEN) or L78-5 (TSEN) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   A102-40 (TSN2) or L78-10 (TSN2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   A102-42 (TGND) or L78-1 (TGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
