DTC C1130-12: Unified Electric Parking Brake Actuator Control Circuit Short to Battery [11/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the L78 parking brake with bracket actuator assembly connector.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L78-8 (M+) - L78-7 (M-)	Electric parking brake not operating	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE PARKING BRAKE WITH BRACKET ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] 

Result: 

NG

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the L78 parking brake with bracket actuator assembly connector.
3. Disconnect the A102 No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L78-8 (M+) or A102-3 (M+) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 V
   L78-7 (M-) or A102-2 (M-) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE NO. 2 SKID CONTROL ECU (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]
