DTC C1125-12: Electric Parking Brake Tension Sensor "B" Circuit Short to Battery [11/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the L78 parking brake with bracket actuator assembly connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L78-10 (TSN2) - L78-1 (TGND)	Ignition switch ON	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE PARKING BRAKE WITH BRACKET ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023] 

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the L78 parking brake with bracket actuator assembly connector.
3. Disconnect the A102 No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L78-10 (TSN2) or A102-40 (TSN2) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	Below 1 V
   L78-1 (TGND) or A102-42 (TGND) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE NO. 2 SKID CONTROL ECU (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]
