DTC C0500-14: Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Short to Ground or Open [11/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Select the line graph display on the GTS.
2. Check for any momentary interruption in the wire harness and connector.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [11/2021 - 10/2023]

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 10/2023]

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connectors.

   OK

   The connector is securely connected.

3. Disconnect the A72 front speed sensor LH connector.
4. Disconnect the A102 No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
5. Check both the connector case and the terminals for deformation and corrosion.

   OK

   No deformation or corrosion.

6. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A72-1 (FL+) - A102-22 (FL+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A72-1 (FL+) or A102-22 (FL+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   A72-3 (FL-) - A102-21 (FL-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A72-3 (FL-) or A102-21 (FL-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Reconnect the A102 No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   A72-1 (FL+) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

REPLACE FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2023]

REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]
