Monitor Description

The skid control ECU assembly monitors the drive voltage and current of the solenoids of each wheel and the master cut solenoids. If any of the following malfunctions are detected based on the monitor information, the MIL illuminates and a DTC is stored.

Master cut solenoids: 

• A malfunction is detected in the drive circuit.
• An open circuit is detected.
• A current leakage is detected.
• Excessive current is detected.

Solenoids of each wheel: 

• An open circuit is detected.
• A voltage leak is detected.
• Excessive current is detected.
