Monitor Description

C053D and C0541: 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the pressure value of each master cylinder pressure sensor.

    When the brake pedal is not being operated and the pressure of each master cylinder pressure sensor is less than a certain value or more than a certain value, the skid control ECU assembly judges that the master cylinder pressure sensor zero point is abnormal and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C053E, C053F, C0542 and C0543: 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the voltage of each master cylinder pressure sensor.

    If the voltage of the master cylinder pressure sensor (PMC) or master cylinder pressure sensor (VCM) is outside the normal range, the skid control ECU assembly judges that the supplied power is abnormal and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C056B and C056C: 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the pressure value of each master cylinder pressure sensor.

    When the skid control ECU assembly detects a fluctuation difference of each master cylinder pressure sensor which is equal to or greater than the specified value, the skid control ECU assembly determines that there is noise and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C122C: 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the ratio of output value of the master cylinder pressure sensor 1 and master cylinder pressure sensor 2.

    When the brake pedal is being operated and the ratio of the output value of the master cylinder pressure sensor 1 and master cylinder pressure sensor 2 is outside the normal range, the skid control ECU assembly judges that the ratio of the output value of the master cylinder pressure sensor 1 and master cylinder pressure sensor 2 is abnormal and illuminates the MIL and stores this DTC.

C122D and C125A: 

  1. When the supply voltage to a brake fluid pressure sensor is outside of the normal range, the skid control ECU assembly judges that the supply voltage to the sensor is abnormal and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C131B (Case 1), C132B (Case 1), C133B (Case 1) and C134C (Case 1): 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the output voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor.

    When the output voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor is less than the specified range and is not changing, the skid control ECU assembly determines that the output is stuck and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C131B (Case 2), C132B (Case 2), C133B (Case 2) and C134C (Case 2): 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the output voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor.

    When the brake pedal is not being operated and the output voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor is less than a certain value or more than a certain value, the skid control ECU assembly determines that the zero point is abnormal and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C131C, C132C, C133C and C134D: 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the output voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor.

    When the output voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor is in the open circuit range, the skid control ECU assembly determines that there is an open circuit malfunction and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C131D, C132D, C133D and C134E: 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the output voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor.

    When the output voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor is in the short circuit range, the skid control ECU assembly determines that there is a short circuit malfunction and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C131E, C132E, C133E and C134F: 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the output pressure of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor.

    When the skid control ECU assembly detects a fluctuation difference of each master cylinder pressure sensor which is equal to or greater than the specified value, the skid control ECU assembly determines that there is noise and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C131F, C132F, C133F and C1334: 

  1. The skid control ECU assembly monitors the supply voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor.

    When the supply voltage of each wheel cylinder pressure sensor is outside the normal range, the skid control ECU assembly determines that the supply voltage is abnormal and illuminates the MIL and stores a DTC.

C14D6: 

  1. When master cylinder pressure sensor output 1 (PMC1) and master cylinder pressure sensor output 2 (PMC2) are both abnormal, it is judged that both systems are abnormal and the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
