- INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Check speedometer operationNOTE:
- The combination meter assembly receives the vehicle speed signal from the brake actuator assembly (No. 2 skid control ECU) via CAN communication. Therefore, perform the following inspection referring to values on the Data List of the brake actuator assembly (No. 2 skid control ECU) because it is the source of the vehicle speed signal.
- Data List values of the brake actuator assembly (No. 2 skid control ECU) are used for this inspection. Therefore, make sure to perform this inspection after confirming that DTCs are not output.
- Warm up the engine.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Put the engine in inspection mode (maintenance mode).
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

- Inspect tachometer
- Warm up the engine.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Put the engine in inspection mode (maintenance mode).
- for Hybrid Control: Powertrain / Engine / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
