Removal [11/2021 - 10/2022]: Procedure

PRECAUTION (w/ Hands Free Power Trunk Lid)
NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2021 - 10/2023]
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Hands Free Power Trunk Lid)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Hands Free Power Trunk Lid)

WARNING:

After disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, wait for at least 60 seconds to start the operation.
If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

REMOVE REAR LIDAR ADVANCED DRIVE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

NOTE:

Do not reuse the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.
The rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly is a precision instrument. Take care not to damage it during removal and installation.
If the lens surface of the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly is dirty, install the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly after cleaning it with a soft cloth or the like while taking care not to damage it.

Remove the 3 nuts and rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly.
