Terminals Of Ecu [12/2017 - 10/2020]

  1. COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the combination meter assembly connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G34-21 (IG+) - Body ground LA-G - Body ground Engine switch signal Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      G34-22 (B) - Body ground LA-B - Body ground Battery Always 11 to 14 V
      G35-1 (B) - Body ground LA-P - Body ground Battery Always 11 to 14 V
      G34-39 (ILL-) - Body ground B - Body ground Illumination signal Headlight dimmer switch off Below 1 V
      Headlight dimmer switch in tail or head position 11 to 14 V
      G34-38 (IL2-) - Body ground LA-BE - Body ground Illumination signal Headlight dimmer switch off Below 1 V
      Headlight dimmer switch in tail or head position 11 to 14 V
      G34-40 (EP) - Body ground LA - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the combination meter assembly connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Rear RH seat belt unfastened within 30 seconds of opening door with engine switch on (IG) Below 1 V
      G34-13 (RCSB) - Body ground P - Body ground Rear center seat belt warning light signal Rear center seat belt fastened within 30 seconds of opening door with engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Rear center seat belt unfastened within 30 seconds of opening door with engine switch on (IG) Below 1 V
      G35-6 (INT) - Body ground W - Body ground Tire pressure warning light signal Engine switch on (IG), tire pressure warning light off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), tire pressure warning light on 11 to 14 V
      G34-20 (SI) - Body ground LG - Body ground Speed signal for other system (Input) Engine switch on (IG), wheel being rotated Pulse generation (See waveform 1)
      G34-19 (+S) - Body ground L - Body ground Speed signal for other system (Output) Engine switch on (IG), wheel being rotated Pulse generation (See waveform 1)
      G34-34 (FV) - Body ground B - Body ground Fuel sender gauge (Power source) Always 4.5 to 5.5 V
      G34-37 (FV) - Body ground R - Body ground Fuel sender gauge (Power source) Always 4.5 to 5.5 V
      G34-33 (FR) - G34-32 (FE) G - R Fuel level signal Engine switch on (IG) fuel level full Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) fuel level low (fuel level warning light on) 4.5 to 5.5 V

      If the result is not as specified, the combination meter assembly may be malfunctioning.

        • G34-19 (+S) - Body ground
        Tool setting 5 V/DIV., 20 ms./DIV.
        Vehicle condition Engine switch on (IG) wheel being rotated

        HINT: 

        When the system is functioning normally, one wheel revolution generates 4 pulses. As the vehicle speed increases, the width indicated by (A) in the illustration narrows.

      2. Waveform 2:

        Tester Range 5 V/DIV., 20 ms./DIV.
        Condition "Please Wait Now Opening" displayed on multi-information display

      3. Waveform 3:
