Installation [05/2023 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

Apply protective tape around the front bumper cover.

	Install in this Direction
	Protective Tape

Attach the claws to temporarily install the front bumper cover.
NOTE:
Do not damage the front bumper cover.

Fold back a part of edge of the front fender liner LH, connect the connector of the front turn signal light assembly LH.

NOTE:

When folding back the edge of the front fender liner LH, do not pull too hard.

Attach the claws to install the front bumper cover as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

Remove the protective tape.

Connect the connector of the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly.

Attach the clips and install the radiator grille protector.

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

Install in this Direction

Install the 2 clips and 4 bolts.

Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)

Install the 8 screws.

Install the front side bumper retainer.

Install in this Direction

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

Attach the clips to install the front side bumper retainer LH as shown in the illustration.
Install the screw.
Install the clip to the front fender liner.

Install the front bumper cover with the 3 pin hold clips.

NOTE:

Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically.
Do not rotate the pin hold clip after inserting it.

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

1. Attach the guide.
2. Install the lower radiator air deflector with the 5 clips.

INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL LH

Attach the guides and claws.

Install the radiator support to frame seal LH with the 6 clips.

INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH

Attach the guides and claws.

Install the radiator support to frame seal RH with the 6 clips.

PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
1. When removing and installing the No. 2 front bumper mounting bracket:
  Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [04/2020 - ]
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. When removing and installing the No. 2 front bumper mounting bracket:
  Refer to OPERATION CHECK [04/2020 - ]
INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING BATTERY TERMINAL
1. When removing and installing the No. 2 front bumper mounting bracket:
  HINT:
  
  When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
