Removal [03/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY

REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley.

Remove the 10 bolts, rear drive plate spacer, drive plate and ring gear sub-assembly and crankshaft angle sensor rotor.

REMOVE ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL

Using a knife, cut through the lip of the engine rear oil seal.

*b	Protective Tape

Using a screwdriver, pry out the engine rear oil seal.
NOTE:
After removal, check the crankshaft for damage.

If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
