Removal [10/2016 - 09/2020]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
    1. Remove the 9 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply protective tape around the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      *1 Pin Hold Clip
      *a 90°

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Remove the clip.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. Remove the screw.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. Remove the 8 screws.

    6. Remove the 3 bolts.

    7. Remove the 2 clips.
    8. Disconnect the connector.

    9. Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    10. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect each connector.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

    11. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      *a Push
      1. Disengage the claw and disconnect the washer hose from the headlight cleaner hose as shown in the illustration.

        HINT: 

        Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

    12. Disengage the 2 claws and 12 guides to remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
