Inspection [09/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check the resistance.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Luggage Compartment Door Opening Switch Assembly)
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        5 (B) - 2 (L) Switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Switch pushed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly.

    2. Inspect the illumination.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly connector, and check that the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly LED illuminates.

        OK

        Connection Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+)
        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (ILL-)        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly.
