DTC C0610-14: Right Electric Parking Brake Actuator Control Circuit Short to Ground or Open [08/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connectors.

   OK

   The connector is securely connected.

3. Disconnect the jN2 and j2 No. 1 parking brake wire assembly connectors.
4. Check both the connector case and the terminals for deformation and corrosion.

   OK

   No deformation or corrosion.

5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

REPLACE NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY 

Result: 

OK

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Make sure the No. 1 parking brake wire assembly is securely installed.
3. Disconnect the A48 parking brake ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
4. Disconnect the j2 parking brake actuator assembly RH connector.
5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A48-4 (MRR+) - j2-2 (+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A48-4 (MRR+) or j2-2 (+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   A48-3 (MRR-) - j2-1 (-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A48-3 (MRR-) or j2-1 (-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result
