- INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH (POWER BACK DOOR MAIN SWITCH)
- Check the resistance.

(Fuel Lid Opener Switch (Power Back Door Main Switch))- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 (B) - 3 (E) Pressed (ON) Below 1 Ω 4 (B) - 3 (E) Not pressed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch (power back door main switch).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch (power back door main switch) and check that the fuel lid opener switch (power back door main switch) illuminates.

Measurement Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) - 1 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery positive (-) - 5 (ILL-)LED illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch (power back door main switch).
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch (power back door main switch) and check that the fuel lid opener switch (power back door main switch) illuminates.
- Check the resistance.
