Reassembly [08/2021 - 07/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL WIRING HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET 
    1. Engage the guide to install the wiring harness clamp bracket.
    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR WIRE

      *a Guide

      Engage the guide and clamps to connect the No. 2 back door wire.

    2. Install the bolt to connect the ground wire.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

  3. INSTALL NO. 5 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOWER STOPPER CUSHION 
    1. Install the back door lower stopper cushion.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER STOPPER CUSHION 
    1. Engage the claws to install the back door upper stopper cushion as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

  7. INSTALL BACK DOOR WEIGHT 
    1. Engage the guide to install the back door weight.

    2. Install the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 5.7 N*m (58 kgf*cm, 50 in.*lbf) 

  8. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR GROMMET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  9. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  10. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU (w/ Power Back Door) 

    See step  1

  11. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  12. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  13. INSTALL BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  14. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH (w/ Power Back Door) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  15. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH (w/o Power Back Door) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  16. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE PLATE 
    1. Engage the clips to install the back door outside handle plate.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

  17. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE (for Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  18. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR NAME PLATE (for HV Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  19. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  20. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  21. INSTALL REAR WASHER NOZZLE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  22. INSTALL REAR SPOILER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  23. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Power Back Door) 

    See step  1

  24. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Power Back Door) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  25. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the clips.

    2. Engage the guides and claws to install the back door trim board assembly.

  26. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER 
    1. Engage the claws to install the back door lock cover.

  27. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BASE (w/ Power Back Door) 
    1. Engage the guides and claws to install the back door trim base as shown in the illustration.

  28. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL SWITCH (w/ Power Back Door)

  30. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE (w/ Power Back Door) 
    1. Connect the connector.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Engage the guides and claws to install the door pull handle as shown in the illustration.
  31. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE (w/o Power Back Door) 
    1. Engage the guides and claws to install the door pull handle LH as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

  32. INSTALL ROPE HOOK 
    1. Install the rope hook as shown in the illustration.

  35. INSTALL REAR WIPER ARM HEAD CAP

  36. INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM (w/ Power Back Door)

  37. ADJUST REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
