DCM Communication Stop Mode [10/2018 - 10/2019]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F8-15 (CANP) - F8-16 (CANN)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F8-4 (E) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	Below 1 Ω

2. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   F8-1 (+B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V
   F8-7 (IG2) - Body ground	Engine switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V
   F8-8 (ACC) - Body ground	Engine switch on (ACC)	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2018 - 10/2019] 

Result:
