Combination Meter ECU Communication Stop Mode [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY MAIN LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the combination meter assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F23-29 (CANH) - F23-30 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F23-40 (EP) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω F23-31 (ES) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω *a Front view of wire harness connector
(to Combination Meter Assembly) - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition F23-21 (IG+) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V F23-22 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V Result
