Removal [07/2022 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch is turned off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to REMOVAL [07/2022 - ]
WARNING:- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- If an SRS part is accidentally deployed, it may cause a serious injury.
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18
- DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
- Disconnect the front door opening trim weatherstrip.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26
- DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
- Disconnect the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.
- REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER
- DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH

- REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41
- REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
- Remove the nut to disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.
- Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pull out the locking button to release the lock to disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.
*a Protective Tape *b Locking Button - Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Disengage the guides to remove the front seat outer belt assembly.
- Remove the nut to disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
