DTC B15FE: XM Tuner Antenna Disconnected; DTC B15FF: XM Tuner Antenna Short [10/2018 - 10/2019]: Procedure

1. Check if the roof antenna assembly cable is securely connected to the radio receiver assembly.

   OK

   Telephone antenna assembly cable is securely connected.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

SECURELY CONNECT ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY CABLE 

Result: 

OK

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2018 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2018 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

1. Disconnect the A antenna connector from the telephone antenna assembly.

   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 2 Antenna Cord Sub-assembly)

2. Disconnect the B antenna connector from the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A-3 - B-3	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-3a - B-3a	Always	Below 1 Ω
   A-3 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   A-3a - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022]

OK

1. Disconnect the B antenna connector from the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

2. Disconnect the C antenna connector from the antenna cord sub-assembly.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   B-3 - C-3	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B-3a - C-3a	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B-3 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   B-3a - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPLACE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022]

1. Replace the antenna cord sub-assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022]

1. Replace the telephone antenna assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2018 - ]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2018 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2018 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result
