DTC C1622: Back Camera Disconnected [10/2018 - 10/2019]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the F6 multi-display connector.
2. Disconnect the V5 rear television camera assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F6-10 (CA+) - V5-6 (CB+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F6-8 (V+) - V5-3 (CV+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F6-9 (V-) - V5-2 (CV-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F6-21 (CGND) - V5-5 (CGND)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F6-10 (CA+) or V5-6 (CB+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F6-8 (V+) or V5-3 (CV+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F6-9 (V-) or V5-2 (CV-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F6-21 (CGND) or V5-5 (CGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F6-20 (CSLD) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Reconnect the multi-display connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

1. Reconnect the V5 rear television camera assembly connector.
2. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform of the rear television camera assembly.

   *a	Component with harness connected (Multi-display)

   HINT: 

   A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the multi-display with the connector connected.

   OK

   Waveform is similar to that shown in the illustration.

   Condition	Ignition switch ON, shift lever in R

   HINT: 

   • The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.
   • The video waveform is constantly output when the ignition switch is ACC.
