Parking Light/Daytime Running Light Circuit [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. CONFIRM MODEL 
    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. CHECK LIGHTS 
    1. Check the illumination of each parking lights and daytime running lights.

      Result

      Left side parking light and daytime running light does not illuminate A
      Right side parking light and daytime running light does not illuminate B

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Active Test

      Daytime Running Light Daytime running lights OFF or ON -

  4. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS (Sub) / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Active Test

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

    1. Interchange the headlight unit LH with RH and connect the connectors.

  8. CHECK OPERATION (PARKING LIGHTS AND DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS) 
    1. Check the operation of the parking lights and daytime running lights.

      OK

      The parking lights and daytime running lights operate normally.

  9. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling (Sub) / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling (Sub) > Active Test
