Outside Handle Foot Light Circuit [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test 

   Tester Display	Measurement Item	Control Range	Diagnostic Note
   Exterior Light	Outside handle foot lights	OFF or ON	-

   Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test 

   Tester Display
   Exterior Light

   OK

   Outside handle foot lights illuminate.

2. Inspect the front door outside handle assembly RH.

REPLACE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [10/2018 - 07/2022]

1. Disconnect the J3 front door outside handle assembly RH connector.
2. Disconnect the F39 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J3-1 (OLP) - F39-2 (OHIL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   J3-1 (OLP) or F39-2 (OHIL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Disconnect the J3 front door outside handle assembly RH connector.
2. Disconnect the K3 front door outside handle assembly LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J3-3 (GND) - K3-1 (OLP)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   K3-3 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022]
