NOTE:
  • If the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.*1

  • If the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.*2

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2020 - ]

  • When replacing the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH, always replace it with a new one. If a No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.
  • Check the operation of the low beam headlights. If the low beam headlights do not operate normally, refer to Problem Symptoms Table. *3

    1. *1: for Triple Beam Headlight
    2. *2: for Single Beam Headlight with Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System
    3. *3: for Single Beam Headlight without Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System
  • Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Registration.

    Refer to REGISTRATION [07/2022 - ]

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.
