DTC B1537-11: Telephone Sub Antenna Circuit Short to Ground; DTC B153713: Telephone Sub Antenna Circuit Open [10/2019 - 07/2022]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 10 seconds or more.
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

6. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2018 - ]

1. Disconnect the D telephone and GPS antenna cord (antenna cord sub-assembly) connector from the telephone and GPS antenna assembly (for Front Side).

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   4 - 4a	Always	4 to 11 kΩ

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA (FOR FRONT SIDE). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022] 

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the telephone and GPS antenna cord (antenna cord sub-assembly) connector from the telephone and GPS antenna assembly (for Front Side).

2. Disconnect the telephone and GPS antenna cord (antenna cord sub-assembly) connector from the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   D-4 or A-1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D-4a - A-1a	Always	Below 1 Ω

REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022]

1. Replace the DCM (telematics transceiver) with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2019 - 07/2022]

   NOTE:

   • The ignition switch must be off.
   • Do not exchange the DCM (telematics transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
