  1. CHECK VEHICLE TYPE 
    1. Check the vehicle type.

    2. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Navigation System / Trouble Codes.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

  9. CHECK FOR CAN BUS WIRE (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY MAIN WIRE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the F23 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F23-8 (TX+) - F23-7 (TX-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω
      F23-8 (TX+) - F58-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      F23-7 (TX-) - F58-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      F23-8 (TX+) - F58-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher
      F23-7 (TX-) - F58-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher

  10. CHECK FOR CAN BUS WIRE (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY MAIN WIRE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the F130 radio receiver assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F130-11 (CNH1) - F130-12 (CNL1) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω
      F130-11 (CNH1) - F58-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      F130-12 (CNL1) - F58-4 (CG) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 200 Ω or higher
      F130-11 (CNH1) - F58-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher
      F130-12 (CNL1) - F58-16 (BAT) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 6 kΩ or higher

  11. CHECK FOR CAN BUS WIRE (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY MAIN WIRE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the F23 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F23-8 (TX+) - F23-7 (TX-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [07/2022 - ]

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  12. CHECK FOR CAN BUS WIRE (METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the F25 meter mirror sub-assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F25-14 (TX+) - F25-15 (TX-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [07/2022 - ]

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

  13. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MOBILE WIRELESS CHARGER CRADLE ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the F132 mobile wireless charger cradle assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F132-1 (PGND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F132-4 (B+) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      F132-3 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the F132 mobile wireless charger cradle assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F132-5 (CANH) - F132-6 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
