Terminals Of Ecu [07/2022 - ]

  1. CHECK VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER

    1. Disconnect the F142 vehicle approaching speaker controller connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Switch Condition Specified Condition
      F142-1 (IG) - Body ground BE - Body ground IG power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      F142-6 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Connect the F142 vehicle approaching speaker controller connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F142-7 (SP+) - F142-8 (SP-) R - G Vehicle approaching speaker output Vehicle approaching speaker operating A waveform synchronized with the sound is output. (See Waveform 1)
      F142-3 (CANH) - F142-6 (GND) P - W-B CAN communication line Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation
      F142-4 (CANL) - F142-6 (GND) W - W-B CAN communication line Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation
