Speedometer Malfunction [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check if CAN communication DTCs are output.
Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2014 - 08/2016] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2016 - 11/2017]

- Check if CAN communication DTCs are output.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SPEED METER OPERATION)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (VEHICLE SPEED, VEHICLE SPEED METER)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus:
- for ABS/VSC/TRAC: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.
- for Combination Meter: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

- When the Data List values of the ECUs do not match, a signal output malfunction of the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) or an internal malfunction of the combination meter assembly is suspected.
