Engine Oil Pressure Switch Circuit [09/2020 - ]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List
Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Oil Pressure Switch Engine oil pressure switch OFF or ON OFF: Engine started
ON: Engine not started- Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

- Inspect the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

- Inspect the engine oil pressure switch assembly.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the F37 engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the O3 combination meter assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F37-1 - O3-9 (S) Always Below 1 Ω F37-1 or O3-9 (S) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
