DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION

The diagnosis function makes the master warning light and the multi-information display turn on, and the lane departure alert indicator light turns off as shown in the illustration. When a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system, DTCs are stored in the lane departure warning camera.

NOTE:

The master warning light turns off if the system returns to a normal condition.

When a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system, the system turns off the lane departure alert indicator light and the master warning light illuminates. Also, "Lane Departure Alert Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" is displayed in the combination meter assembly and the lane departure warning camera stores DTCs.
NOTE:
If DTCs related to the communication system are stored, "Lane Departure Alert Malfunction Visit Your Dealer", which is displayed in the combination meter assembly, disappears when the system returns to normal.

If DTCs not related to the communication system are stored, "Lane Departure Alert Malfunction Visit Your Dealer", which is displayed in the combination meter assembly, disappears when the power switch is turned off then back on (IG) after the system returns to normal.
