Odo/Trip Switch Malfunction [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Operate the Techstream according to the display and select the Data List.

   Switch condition (ON/OFF) can be switched by actual operation.

NG 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 

Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Remove the light control rheostat. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] ).
2. Inspect the light control rheostat. Refer to INSPECTION [09/2015 - ] ).

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT 

Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the E10 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the E9 light control rheostat connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E120-8 (RSET) - E9-4 (A/B)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E120-19 (E2) - E9-1 (E)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E120-8 (RSET) or E9-4 (A/B) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

OK 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

NG
