Removal [10/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    w/o Advanced Drive:

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2020 - 11/2021]

    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2020 - 11/2021]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

    WARNING:
    • After disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, wait for at least 60 seconds to start the operation.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

      Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. Remove the 4 clips.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    4. Remove the screw.

      *1 Front Bumper Seal Bracket - -

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    5. Remove the front bumper seal bracket.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    6. Remove the 8 screws.

    7. Disconnect each connector.

      *A w/ Advanced Drive - -
    8. Place your hand at the positions shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction to detach the claw.

      Place hands here
      Remove in this Direction

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other side.

    9. Detach the claw and remove the front bumper assembly.

      *A w/ Headlight Cleaner System *B w/ Advanced Drive
      Remove in this Direction - -
    10. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
      1. Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

        HINT: 

        Prepare a container before performing the procedure.

    11. w/ Advanced Drive:
      1. Disconnect the front No. 2 LiDAR cleaner hose.

        HINT: 

        Prepare a container before performing the procedure.
