Removal [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:
    • After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2023 - ]

    • Do not insert your fingers inside the connector opening.
    • Do not pull or lift up the wiring harness.
    • When lifting up the DC/DC converter assembly, hold it by the areas indicated in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  7. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the front luggage compartment trim cover (w/o Advanced Drive).

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  8. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  9. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER ASSEMBLY 

    See step  12

  10. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE 

    See step  13

  11. INSTALL CONNECTOR COVER ASSEMBLY 

    See step  15

  12. REMOVE DC/DC CONVERTER COOLING EXHAUST DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  13. DISCONNECT NO. 3 FLOOR WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Disengage the claw and open the No. 3 floor wire terminal cover.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the No. 3 floor wire from the DC/DC converter assembly.

  14. REMOVE DC/DC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY W/BRACKET 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Disconnect the connector.

      *a Green-colored Lock
      Slide
    2. Using a screwdriver, slide the green-colored lock of the connector as shown in the illustration to release it and disconnect the connector.
    3. Disengage the clamp.

    4. Remove the 2 nuts and DC/DC converter assembly w/bracket.
  15. REMOVE NO. 2 CONVERTER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 converter bracket.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 CONVERTER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 converter bracket.
