Removal [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:
    • After the power switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

      Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [10/2023 - ]

    • If the multi power control ECU assembly is subjected to an impact, replace it with a new one.
    • If the multi power control ECU assembly was replaced, turn the power switch to ON and then off with the shift position in P and wait 3 seconds to perform ECU learning.
    • Refer to the table below for the combination of the multi power control ECU assembly and multi power control sub-battery.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  5. REMOVE TOOL BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE INNER LOWER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29

  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  8. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  9. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  10. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the front luggage compartment trim cover (w/o Advanced Drive).

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  12. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the rear luggage compartment trim cover (w/o Advanced Drive).

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  13. REMOVE SIDE TRIM BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  14. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  15. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET RH 
    1. Detach the claw and open the cap.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Remove the bolt and rope hook assembly.

    3. Detach the clip and remove the rear luggage compartment tray bracket RH.

  16. REMOVE MULTI POWER CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 6 connectors.

      Disengage the clamp and disconnect the floor wire from the multi power control ECU assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts and multi power control ECU assembly from the rear floor pan sub-assembly.
