Odo/Trip Switch Malfunction [10/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, read the Data List.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [10/2017 - 10/2020]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2020] 

Result: 

NG

1. Remove the trip switch.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2023]

2. Inspect the trip switch.

   Refer to INSPECTION [10/2017 - ]

REPLACE TRIP SWITCH. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2023]

OK

1. Disconnect the G34 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the G8 trip switch connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G34-4 (ODO) - G8-4 (A/B)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G34-26 (SW3) - G8-7 (E)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G34-4 (ODO) or G8-4 (A/B) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G34-26 (SW3) or G8-7 (E) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG
