Entire Combination Meter does not Operate [10/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the G34*1 or G162*2 combination meter assembly connector.
   1. *1: w/o Advanced Drive
   2. *2: w/ Advanced Drive
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   W/O ADVANCED DRIVE
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G34-31 (ES) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   W/ ADVANCED DRIVE

   G162-2 (ES) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   G34-21 (IG+) - Body ground	Power switch off	Below 1 V
   	Power switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V
   G34-22 (B) - Body ground	Power switch off	11 to 14 V

   W/ ADVANCED DRIVE
   
   

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   G162-6 (IG+) - Body ground	Power switch off	Below 1 V
   	Power switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V
   G162-5 (B) - Body ground	Power switch off	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021]
