DTC B1510-87: Lost Communication with HUD Gigabit Video Interface Missing Message [11/2021 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs and the output pattern according to the following table.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2017 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

2. Check for DTCs and the output pattern according to the following table.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2017 - 10/2023]

   Body Electrical > Head Up Display > Trouble Codes

1. Disconnect the combination meter assembly connector.

2. Disconnect the meter mirror sub-assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G179-1 (MGV+) - G178-2 (HGV+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G179-2 (MGV-) - G178-1 (HGV-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G179-3 (MGVG) - G178-3 (HGVG)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G179-1 (MGV+) or G178-2 (HGV+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G179-2 (MGV-) or G178-1 (HGV-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G179-3 (MGVG) or G178-3 (HGVG) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

1. Replace the meter mirror sub-assembly with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]

   No DTCs are output.
