Monitor Description

SAE Code C1451: 

1. After replacing the skid control ECU assembly or brake booster with accumulator pump assembly, if air bleeding is not performed and the vehicle is driven at a certain speed or more, the skid control ECU assembly judges that air bleeding has not been completed and illuminates the MIL and stores this DTC.

   Furthermore, this DTC is not cleared until air bleeding has been completed.

C1451 (INF Code 120): 

1. After replacing the skid control ECU assembly or brake booster with accumulator pump assembly, if air bleeding is not performed, the skid control ECU assembly judges that air bleeding has not been completed and illuminates the ABS warning, brake warning / red (malfunction), brake warning / yellow (minor malfunction) and slip indicator lights and stores this DTC.

   Furthermore, this DTC is not cleared until air bleeding has been completed.

   HINT: 

   As the detection conditions slightly differ from SAE code C1451, the detection conditions for DTC C1451 (INF code 120) is also provided.
